국제공인시험인증 및 국제공인교정업무 선도기업인 ㈜에이치시티(대표이사 허봉재)가 5월 10일 인도네시아 자카르타에서 신사옥 완공식을 가졌다. 인도네시아 현지 시장에서 폭발적으로 수요가 증가하고있는 “시험인증 분야”에 대응하여 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력을 높이기 위함이다.

㈜에이치시티는 세계적인 방산기업인 록히드마틴사의 F-35 전투기 교정업무 계약을 체결해 고도 기술력을 요구하는 항공기 부품 측정 및 교정업무를 수행하고 있으며, 또한 국방표준인 MIL-STD-461(전자파 시험), MIL-STD-810(환경신뢰성 시험)에 기반한 대형 방산 업체 대형 제품들을 시험하고 있는 국제 공인시험인증 기관이기도 하다.

또한, ㈜에이치시티는 2000년 현대전자 품질보증실에서 분사해 독립한 국제시험인증·교정전문기관으로, 5세대 이동통신(5G)을 기반으로하는 무선통신, 전자파 적합성, 안전성 시험 등에서 국내 최고의 기술력을 자랑한다. 인도네시아에는 2019년 현지법인을 설립하며 진출했고, 2022년에는 현지 시험기관 중 무선통신(RF) 부문 시장 점유율 1위를 차지하며 로컬화에 성공했다.

이번에 완공한 인도네시아 신사옥은 건평 기준 약 2,500㎡(750평) 규모로, 3미터 챔버 2기를 포함하여 무선통신(RF), 전자파(EMC), 안전(Safety), 디지털 방송 수신 기기 시험 설비와 교정설비를 갖추고 있으며, 향후 전자파 흡수율(SAR) 설비 구축 계획도 가지고 있다.

이번 완공식에는 인도네시아 우편통신부 산하의 인증기관 SDPPI, 인정기구 KAN, 정부시험소 BBPPT 등 현지 관계자들을 비롯해 국립전파연구원 서성일 연구원장, 삼성전자 인도네시아 법인 이재우 그룹장, 이노텍 인도네시아 법인 최석동 법인장 등 국내외 주요 인사들이 참석해 신사옥 완공을 축하했다.

국립전파연구원장 서성일 연구원장은 이날 현장에서 삼성과 이노텍 등 한국 제조업체들로부터 해외인증에 대한 애로사항을 듣고, “에이치시티가 글로벌 인증기관으로 도약해서 우리 기업들의 해외진출에 든든한 지원군이 되어줄 것”을 당부하며, “국립전파연구원도 4차산업혁명을 견인하는 전문기관으로서 세계ICT, 미래ICT를 선도해 나가기 위한 책임과 역할을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

HCT Co., Ltd. (CEO Bingjai Huh), a leading international test certification and international calibration company, held a completion ceremony for the new building in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 10. This is to enhance competitiveness in the global market in response to the "test and certification field" that is exploding in demand in the local Indonesian market.

HCT has signed a contract for the calibration of F-35 Combat Aircraft from Lockheed Martin, a global defense company, to perform the measurement and calibration of aircraft parts requiring advanced technology, and is also an internationally recognized testing and certification Laboratory that tests large-scale products of large defense companies based on the national defense standards MIL-STD-461 (Electronic Interference Test) and MIL-STD-810 (Environmental Reliability Test).

In addition, HCT is an international test certification and calibration laboratory that was spun off from Hyundai Electronics' Quality Assurance Office in 2000 and boasts the best technology in Korea in wireless communication, electromagnetic compatibility, and safety tests based on 5G mobile communication (5G). It entered Indonesia in 2019 with the establishment of a local subsidiary, and in 2022, it succeeded in localizing by ranking first in the wireless communication (RF) market share among local testing institutions.

The new building in Indonesia is about 2,500 square meters in floor space and is equipped with wireless communication (RF), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), safety, digital broadcast receiving equipment testing and calibration facilities, including two 3-meter chambers, and plans to build a Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) facility in the future.

At the completion ceremony, local officials such as SDPPI, a certification body under the Indonesian Ministry of Posts and Communications, KAN accreditation organization, and BBPPT, a government testing laboratory, as well as major domestic and international figures such as Sung-il Seo, director of the National Radio Research Agency, Lee Jae-woo, group director of Samsung Electronics Indonesia, and Seok-dong Choi, president of Innotek Indonesia, attended the ceremony to celebrate the completion of the new building.

Bingjai Huh, who is HCT's CEO said, “With the completion of the new building in Indonesia, we have established a bridgehead to become a global testing and certification organization, and we will expand our capabilities in various areas such as defense, aerospace, battery, biotechnology, and cybersecurity to grow into a world-scale global test certification and calibration service provider.”

Sung-il Seo,who is director of the National Radio Research Agency, heard about the difficulties of overseas certification from Korean manufacturers such as Samsung and Innotech at the site, and asked that “HCT will leap forward as a global certification body and become a reliable support force for our companies' overseas expansion.”
